A Metroidvania adventure on Steam

9 Years of Shadows is a downloadable PC game published by Freedom! Family Alabama and developed by Halberd Studios. The title releases on Steam with a product key that activates through Valve's platform. Players guide Europa through the cursed Talos Castle to restore colour to a world plunged into darkness.

Solo players who enjoy exploration

The game suits anyone looking for a single-player adventure built around platforming, boss battles and elemental armour upgrades. It does not support local or online multiplayer, so buyers who want co-op or competitive modes should look elsewhere.

Steam account required for activation

A third-party Steam account is mandatory to redeem the code and play. The product key is delivered digitally and binds to that account permanently. Without access to Steam the game cannot be installed or launched.
