Genealogy software for Windows PCs

Family Tree Heritage Platinum 9 is a downloadable Windows application that helps users research ancestors, build family trees and create heirloom charts or reports. It is designed for hobbyists and family historians who want an all-in-one tool for discovering and preserving their family story on a supported Windows PC or tablet.

Integrated research and design workflow

The program connects directly to the FamilySearch database so you can search billions of records with a single click and import findings straight into your tree. An interactive research timeline surfaces historical events that may have affected ancestors, while built-in design tools let you produce colourful trees, charts and family books without leaving the application.

Check Windows version and disk space before ordering

The software requires a Windows PC running Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista or XP, or a Windows 8 tablet, with at least 100 MB of free hard-disk space and an 800 x 600 or higher display. An internet connection is mandatory for database searches and a keyboard is recommended for comfortable data entry on tablets.
