24-pack 6-inch daylight LED kit

This 24-pack supplies 6-inch recessed LED modules rated at 5000K daylight colour. Each unit draws 12W and delivers 1050 lumens, replacing a 75W incandescent equivalent. The kit suits contractors or homeowners finishing multiple rooms, soffits or covered outdoor areas. Every fixture includes its own junction box and is certified for wet locations.

Thin profile fits shallow ceilings

The housing needs only 2 inches of clearance above the ceiling plane, so it slides into tight joist bays or retrofit openings. IC-rated construction allows direct contact with insulation without a housing can. Click-in wire connectors and a 1:1 cut-out template speed rough-in, while the integrated junction box removes the need for a separate enclosure.

1050 lumens per module at 12 watts

At full output each light produces 1050 lumens while consuming 12W, yielding up to 88% energy savings versus the 75W baseline. Smooth dimming from 5% to 100% lets users tune brightness for task or ambient needs. The 5000K output leans cool with a slight blue hue, so spaces requiring warmer tones may need a different colour temperature.

Questions about this item

How much clearance above the ceiling does the 1-inch fixture need for sustained use?

The ultra-thin housing requires only 2 inches of ceiling space, so the 1-inch height fits easily in shallow plenums.

Does the 12-watt LED run hot or make noise when dimmed to 100 percent all day?

The kit is designed for quick heat dissipation and noiseless dimming from 5 to 100 percent without flicker or hum.

What wiring must already be in the ceiling for the 120-volt junction box to connect?

A standard 120-volt supply cable is required; the integrated junction box uses UL-certified connectors for direct wire-in.
