Pocket Thermal Imager
The InfiRay P2 Pro is a 9 g thermal camera that plugs directly into a smartphone. It captures 256 × 192 infrared frames at 25 Hz and measures temperatures from -20 °C to 550 °C without any internal battery. The fully metal housing measures 27 × 18 × 9.8 mm and draws power from the host device.
DIY and Maintenance Users
Homeowners tracking missing insulation, floor heating leaks or HVAC faults will find the resolution and temperature range suitable for routine checks. Technicians needing macro optics for component-level PCB work should look elsewhere because this package excludes the macro lens. Buyers with phones older than Android 9.0 or incompatible iOS versions cannot use the device.
256 × 192 IR Resolution
The 49 152-pixel sensor defines the smallest detail the camera can resolve at a given distance. If the inspection task requires recognising sub-centimetre anomalies on a circuit board, this resolution will not be sufficient. For building-envelope scans and pipe tracing the pixel count is adequate.

Questions about this item
What is the maximum frame rate during extended thermal scanning?
The camera delivers a steady 25 Hz frame rate, so sustained use does not drop below that refresh speed
How much heat does the metal housing produce when the imager runs all day?
The 9 g aluminium body acts as a passive heatsink and draws minimal power from the phone, keeping the unit close to hand temperature in continuous operation
Which phone operating-system version is required for the thermal camera to function?
Android 9.0 or later is needed; the iOS companion app requires a Lightning or USB-C iPhone running a compatible iOS release
