Breakaway Safety Shoulder Strap

The InfoCase breakaway shoulder strap is a black nylon strap adjustable to 56 inches. It features a safety release mechanism where either end detaches under excessive force. A hook-and-loop fastener strip is included for secure attachment. The strap is designed to keep the user safe during emergencies by allowing escape unharmed.

For Laptop Bag Users Needing Emergency Release

This strap suits anyone replacing or upgrading the shoulder strap on a compatible laptop case or bag who values a fail-safe breakaway function. It is not for buyers who need a fixed, non-releasing strap for heavy loads. It is also not for users requiring a specific proprietary connector not matched by the hook-and-loop fastener strip.

Adjustable Length Up To 56 Inches

The single specification that decides fit is the maximum adjustable length of 56 inches. If your carry preference or torso height requires a longer strap, this model will not reach. If 56 inches covers your needed range, the breakaway safety feature and hook-and-loop attachment become the deciding benefits.

Questions about this item

What does the 56-inch maximum length mean when the strap is worn?

The strap adjusts up to 56 inches so it can be worn cross-body or over the shoulder by most adults.

How does the safety-release mechanism work in practice?

Either end detaches under strong pull, letting the bag drop away instead of dragging the wearer.

What does the hook-and-loop strip do for mounting?

The strip secures excess strap length and keeps the adjusted length from slipping during use.
