Questions about this item

How do I install the 842279 toner in my IM C4500, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, pull the old cartridge straight out, remove the new cartridge from its packaging, gently shake it side to side to distribute toner evenly, then slide it firmly into the slot until it clicks and close the cover.

What maintenance or replacement will the 842279 cartridge need after it reaches its rated life?

The cartridge itself is a single-use supply; once it reaches the estimated 33000-page yield it must be replaced with a new genuine cartridge, and no internal parts of the cartridge are serviceable.

At what page count does the 842279 toner typically run out under continuous printing?

The estimated yield is 33000 pages at standard coverage, so under sustained use the toner will deplete around that figure, though actual life varies with page content and print settings.
