Eight-piece air tool kit includes a 1/2-inch impact wrench delivering 425 ft-lbf torque and a 1/2-inch ratchet at 160 RPM, both running at 90 psi with 360-degree exhaust
This Ingersoll/Rand combination kit pairs a 231 impact wrench with a 107XPA ratchet for professional automotive and industrial fastening. Both tools are air-powered and ship in a protective case, giving technicians two complementary drive tools in one purchase.
The impact wrench delivers 425 ft-lbf of fastening torque while consuming 4.2 cfm at 90 psi, and the ratchet runs at 160 RPM free speed using 4 cfm. Both tools share a 1/4 in NPT female inlet, a minimum 0.375 in hose size and a 360-degree exhaust that directs airflow away from the work area.
The supplied case keeps the impact wrench, ratchet and sockets organised and protected during transport. Having both tools in 1/2 in square drive means a single socket set serves both the high-torque impact and the precision ratchet, reducing the number of accessories a technician must carry.

Use a 3/8 in minimum hose at 90 psi; the step often missed is adding a filter-regulator-lubricator unit before the tools so the 4 cfm rated flow stays clean and oiled.
Daily, add a few drops of air-tool oil into the 1/4 in NPT inlet; periodically rebuild the vane set and replace the 1/2 in square-drive anvil when the 425 ft-lbf fastening torque drops.
The 4.2 cfm average air consumption will exceed many small compressors, causing pressure to sag below 90 psi and torque to fall off.
