Tail-light set for 2006-2012 RAV4

This pair of black LED tail-light assemblies is a direct replacement for the Toyota RAV4 built between 2006 and 2012. The plug-and-play design uses the factory mounting points and includes the wiring harness, so no splicing is required. Professional installation is recommended because instructions are not supplied.

Sequential signals and start-up animation

The LEDs produce a start-up animation when the ignition is switched on and a sequential sweep for the turn indicators. Daytime running lights, brake lights and a high-brightness reverse light all operate from the same units. The lamps accept a 9-14.5 V forward voltage and an operating range of 12-24 V.

ABS housings with DOT/SAE certification

The lenses are sealed in ABS housings rated for water, dust and corrosion resistance under harsh weather. DOT or SAE certification confirms compliance with road-legal standards. Buyers who need a different colour finish or a model that fits outside the 2006-2012 RAV4 range will not be served by this set.

Questions about this item

How much current will the WD-1088A-S draw from my RAV4's 12-24V system when running all night?

The unit operates on a 12-24V range with a 9-14.5V forward voltage, so normal vehicle charging voltage keeps draw low; LED DRLs and sequential signals consume far less power than halogen equivalents.

Do I need any extra wiring or resistors to install these black tail lights on my 2006-2012 RAV4?

No. The set includes a wiring harness and is a direct-fit, plug-and-play replacement for the original lamps; no splicing or load resistors are required.

Will the sequential turn signals and start-up animation work correctly with my RAV4's original flasher relay?

Yes. The LED assembly is designed for direct fit on 2006-2012 models and functions with the factory flasher without hyper-flashing or error codes.
