The Innovation 4POST sliding shelf installs in a 24-inch deep four-post rack and supports desktop towers or other equipment up to 45 lb. It ships with 10-32, 12-24, and 8-32 mounting hardware plus cage nuts and square nuts to suit common rail thread patterns. An anti-slip mat and nylon strap help secure the load during extension.
Upgrade from Fixed or Shallower Shelves
A fixed shelf forces you to reach deep into the rack for rear connections; this unit slides forward on integrated arms so cabling and maintenance stay accessible. The jump is worth it when equipment depth exceeds the fixed shelf reach or when frequent component swaps make repeated rack access impractical.
