Vertical Cable Management Bar

This vertical cable management bar runs the full height of a 42U server cabinet to keep network and power cables neatly organised from top to bottom. It is designed for administrators who need structured routing to data switches or UPS devices inside a compatible rack. The steel bar mounts on either side of the rear cabinet area and ships with cage nuts and screws for immediate installation.

Exclusive RACK-151 Compatibility

The bar is built exclusively for the RackSolutions RACK-151 server cabinet and will not fit other rack models or brands. Upgrading from loose cable runs or temporary ties is worthwhile when cable clutter blocks airflow or makes maintenance difficult in a 42U enclosure. The proven design has been deployed in thousands of racks worldwide for reliable vertical routing.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify that the target cabinet is a RACK-151 unit before ordering, as mounting points and dimensions are specific to that model. Confirm there is available space on the left or right rear side of the 42U frame for the bar and its included hardware. No additional tools or accessories are mentioned in the supplied package contents.

Questions about this item

Does the 42U vertical cable management bar mount on the left or right side of the RACK-151 cabinet?

It mounts on either side of the cabinet rear using the included cage nuts and screws, so you can choose left or right based on your cable routing plan.

What is the most common installation mistake with the included cage nuts and screws?

Installers often forget to seat the cage nuts fully in the square holes before driving the screws, which leaves the bar loose and misaligned.

Will the black powder-coat finish on the steel bar need any recoating or rust protection over time?

The powder coat is durable for indoor rack use; no recoating is required unless the surface is scratched down to bare metal.
