Privacy Filter for 20" Widescreen LCD

The Innovera Blackout Privacy Filter is sized for a 20" widescreen LCD monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It uses Micro-Louver technology to narrow the viewing angle so on-screen data is visible only to the person sitting directly in front of the display. The filter tint is medium and the frame type is frameless for a built-in appearance. It helps protect sensitive information in open-plan offices or shared workspaces.

Frameless Overlay with Mounting Tabs

The frameless design overlays the monitor surface for a built-in look and attaches using the supplied mounting tabs. It fits LCD monitors with a 20" diagonal and 16:9 aspect ratio without requiring a bezel or adhesive strips. A microfiber cleaning cloth is included for maintenance. The filter also reduces glare by up to 90% and increases perceived contrast while shielding the delicate screen surface from scratches and dust.

Consistent Privacy Under Continuous Use

The Micro-Louver structure maintains its narrow viewing angle throughout extended sessions, keeping side views black regardless of how long the monitor stays on. Glare reduction and contrast enhancement remain stable under sustained lighting conditions. The plastic filter material resists warping and the surface coating withstands repeated cleaning with the provided cloth. It continues to protect both data privacy and the monitor surface during all-day operation.

Questions about this item

Will the frameless filter stay flat and aligned on a 20" 16:9 LCD after weeks of daily use?

The filter uses mounting tabs that overlay the monitor surface for a built-in look, keeping it flat and aligned on the 20" 16:9 LCD.

Does the filter trap heat or change the screen temperature during all-day operation?

The plastic filter adds no active components, so it does not generate heat or alter the monitor's temperature during continuous use.

My monitor has a curved bezel — will the included mounting tabs still attach securely?

The frameless design with mounting tabs is made for flat 20" 16:9 LCD panels; curved bezels may prevent a secure fit.
