Inscape Data Corporation LinkPower 2016AF-2F 16-Port Gigabit PoE Switch 2 SFP Uplink Ports

16-Port Gigabit PoE Switch with SFP Uplinks

The Inscape Data LinkPower 2016AF-2F is a desktop or rackmount switch that provides sixteen Gigabit Ethernet ports with Power over Ethernet capability. It follows the IEEE 802.3af standard and delivers up to 15.4W per PoE port. Two SFP uplink ports allow fibre connections for network backbone links. Every Ethernet port includes surge protection for improved durability.

Suited for IP cameras and access points.

This switch suits installations that need to power IP cameras, wireless access points or VoIP phones through the network cable without separate power supplies. Buyers who need more than 15.4W per port for devices such as pan-tilt-zoom cameras or video phones should look at a higher-power PoE+ or PoE++ model instead.

Fits a desktop shelf or standard rack.

The unit can sit on a desk or be mounted in a standard equipment rack, letting integrators choose the form factor that matches the site. PoE power on all sixteen ports removes the need for nearby AC outlets at each camera or access point. The SFP uplinks connect the switch to a core switch or router over fibre, keeping copper runs short.
