IPX7 Waterproof Portable Speaker

The INSMY C12 is a compact Bluetooth speaker rated IPX7 for full submersion up to one metre for 30 minutes. It suits outdoor enthusiasts who need audio that survives immersion, splashes and dust on kayaks, trails or in the shower. The 5 watt active driver with a passive radiator delivers clear sound from a 7.4 ounce housing measuring 9.0 by 9.0 by 3.0 inches.

Sustained Outdoor Playback

The speaker maintains its 5 watt output during extended sessions without thermal throttling thanks to its low-power Class D amplification. Battery life supports multi-hour listening at moderate volumes, and the rugged shell resists shock from drops on rock or sand. Performance stays consistent whether the unit is clipped to a pack, suctioned to a kayak hull or hanging in a steamy bathroom.

Bluetooth 66 Foot Range Limit

Wireless audio streams reliably within the stated 66 foot operating range in open air. Walls, water and body mass reduce the practical distance, so keeping the source device nearby ensures stable playback. The speaker does not support Wi-Fi, multi-room protocols or wired auxiliary input, limiting it to single-device Bluetooth pairing and TF card playback.

Questions about this item

How long does the battery last when the INSMY C12 runs at full volume all day?

The active driver and passive radiator deliver 5 W of power, so continuous loud playback will drain the built-in battery faster than moderate levels; expect several hours of playtime per charge.

What device do I need to stream audio to this speaker?

Any Bluetooth-enabled phone, tablet or computer within the 66 ft operating range will pair and send music wirelessly to the C12.

Will the C12 pair with an older phone that only supports earlier Bluetooth versions?

The speaker uses standard Bluetooth connectivity, so it works with legacy handsets as long as they support basic A2DP audio streaming.
