VR creators needing live preview

Teams producing immersive 360-degree content benefit from Farsight live monitoring at 1080p over 5.18GHz with low latency. Buyers who only need flat action footage or a compact single-lens body should look at something else.

Handles 8K 3D workflows with spherical audio

Four onboard mics capture full-sphere Ambisonic sound and a Zoom H2N mount supports external audio gear. The battery provides roughly three hours of operation or the unit can run from external power for longer sessions.

Questions about this item

What external power source can keep the Pro 2 running beyond its 3hr internal battery?

Any USB-C power delivery bank or mains adapter connected to the camera's USB-C port will extend recording past the 3hr run time.

Will my existing 5.18GHz Farsight monitor still pair with the Pro 2's long-range live preview?

Yes, the Pro 2 transmits 1080p real-time preview over 5.18GHz, so compatible Farsight monitors keep working for low-latency framing.

How do I confirm the 120 Mbps per lens bitrate is actually recording on each sensor?

Open the recorded files in Adobe Premiere Pro with the Insta360 plugin; the codec info panel will show 120 Mbps for every lens stream.
