CNVio2 interface and tri-band radio

The adapter uses the CNVio2 architecture, so the host chipset handles the MAC and upper-layer processing while the module supplies the radio front-end. This integration enables 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz operation plus Bluetooth 5.3 without a separate USB or PCIe controller. MU-MIMO support lets the radio serve multiple spatial streams when the router allows it.

Keyed M.2 2230 installation

Installation is a simple screw-down into an M.2 2230 key-E slot wired for CNVio2; the antenna pigtails snap onto the two U.FL connectors on the board. The most common issue is fitting the module into a slot that only provides PCIe or USB signalling, which leaves the adapter invisible to the operating system.
