Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X710-DA2

SKU CH-37N9-N3VKN

Dual-port 10 GbE network adapter for converged server workloads

  • Dual-port 10 GbE connectivity for high-throughput server links
  • Intel X710 controller offloads CPU-intensive network tasks
  • Converged adapter handles LAN and storage traffic on one card
  • Retail bulk packaging suits system integrators and data-centre builds

Dual-port 10 GbE server adapter

The Intel Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X710-DA2 provides two 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a single PCI Express card. It targets servers and workstations that need high-throughput wired connectivity for virtualisation, storage or backbone links. The retail bulk packaging suits system integrators deploying multiple units.

Sustained line-rate throughput

The dual-port design maintains full 10 GbE bandwidth on each port under continuous load without throttling. Hardware offloads for TCP/IP, iSCSI and FCoE reduce host CPU utilisation during prolonged data transfers. This makes the adapter suitable for environments where steady multi-gigabit traffic is the norm rather than the exception.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the Intel X710-DA2 produce when running continuously?

The Intel X710-DA2 is a dual-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter designed for server workloads; sustained operation will generate heat typical for a PCIe network card of this class, so ensure your chassis has adequate airflow across the bracket.

What slot type does the Intel X710-DA2 require on the motherboard?

The Intel X710-DA2 installs in a PCI Express slot; verify your motherboard has a free PCIe lane (x8 electrical recommended) and a matching bracket opening before purchase.
