Dual-port Gigabit Ethernet PCIe 2.0 x4 server adapter with SR-IOV, VMDq, 9.5K Jumbo Frames and DMA Coalescing for virtualised Xeon environments
The Intel I350T2 adds two Gigabit Ethernet ports through a single PCI Express slot. It targets administrators who need extra wired links for virtual machines, iSCSI storage or redundant uplinks in rackmount servers.
Moving from a single onboard port to this dual-port adapter doubles the available 1GbE connections without consuming additional slots. The upgrade is worthwhile when a server must segregate management, storage and workload traffic onto separate physical links.
The I350 controller supports 9.5K jumbo frames, SR-IOV and VMDq to keep CPU utilisation low during continuous load. Energy Efficient Ethernet and DMA coalescing reduce power draw during idle periods while maintaining line-rate performance on both ports.

The card uses a PCI Express 2.0 x4 interface and fits a low-profile bracket.
Enable SR-IOV and VMDq in the BIOS or UEFI before loading the driver so virtual machines can use the queues.
Inspect the two RJ-45 connectors and reseat the card if link lights drop or errors appear after heavy 1000 Mbps traffic.
