Intel M20MYP1UR 1U rackmount barebone server 2×Xeon C624 16×DDR4 4×3.5″ 750W

SKU CH-A0CR-DEJMP MPN M20MYP1UR

A 1U rackmount barebone server with dual Xeon support, C624 chipset, 16 DDR4 slots, four 3.5″ hot-swap bays and a 750 W power supply

  • Dual Xeon sockets scale compute capacity
  • 16 DDR4 slots support 512 GB memory
  • 12 Gb/s SAS backplane drives four 3.5″ hot-swap bays
  • Two PCIe x16 slots add specialised accelerators
  • 750 W power supply fits 1U rack depth

Dual-socket Xeon barebone

The Intel M20MYP1UR is a 1U rack-mountable barebones system that supports two Xeon Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum processors on the C624 chipset. It provides sixteen DDR4 slots for up to 512 GB of memory and is aimed at builders assembling dense compute or storage nodes.

Included risers and backplane

The package supplies the M20MYP chassis, the MYP1USVB server board, two 1U PCIe x16 riser cards and a 12 Gb SAS backplane for four 3.5-inch hot-swap bays. These parts deliver the mechanical and electrical interface for add-in cards and drive trays without extra sourcing.

Single 750 W supply and front I/O

A single 750 W power supply is installed, leaving no redundancy for mission-critical loads. Front-facing USB 3.0 ports give quick attach access, while the 1.7-inch height fits standard 1U racks; the 26-inch depth demands deep cabinets or extended rails.

Questions about this item

How often will the 750 W power supply need replacement in a 24/7 rack?

The single installed 750 W unit has no published MTBF; plan on a spare supply and monitor its fan health during routine chassis cleaning.

Which limit appears first when both Xeon CPUs run at full load continuously?

The 1U chassis airflow and the single 750 W power budget constrain sustained dual-CPU performance before memory or I/O saturate.

What noise and heat levels should I expect from the 1U chassis running all day?

Expect high fan speeds and noticeable noise; the 1.7" height forces aggressive cooling to keep dual Xeons and the 12 Gb SAS backplane within thermal limits.
