Barebone kit with Core i5-1145G7

This Intel NUC 11 Pro barebone kit includes a quad-core Core i5-1145G7 processor in a compact chassis. The board uses a BGA-1449 socket so the CPU is already soldered in place. You add memory, storage and an operating system to complete the system. It is aimed at builders who want a small-footprint desktop platform.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The kit suits integrators and hobbyists assembling a custom mini PC for office work, digital signage or light development. Buyers who need a ready-to-run computer with Windows pre-installed should choose a fully configured unit instead. Anyone requiring discrete graphics, multiple PCIe expansion slots or a user-replaceable processor will not find those options here.

BGA-1449 socket locks the CPU

The processor is permanently mounted on the motherboard via the BGA-1449 socket, so it cannot be upgraded or swapped later. This fixed CPU design defines the performance ceiling of the finished build. Verify that the Core i5-1145G7 meets your workload requirements before purchasing the kit.
