Intel NUC7i3BNHX1 barebone mini PC

This Intel barebone mini PC arrives with a Core i3 7100U processor at 2.4 GHz and HD Graphics 620. A 16 GB Intel Optane Memory M.2 module is already installed. The kit targets builders who want a compact foundation for a custom small-form-factor system.

GigE LAN plus 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2

Wired GigE and dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with Bluetooth 4.2 handle networking without extra cards. The barebone format means you supply your own RAM and primary storage to complete the build. It does not suit buyers who need a fully assembled unit or discrete graphics performance.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB Optane module keep up with the Core i3-7100U during long workloads?

The Optane memory acts as a fast cache for a primary drive you add, so sustained throughput depends on that drive rather than the 16 GB module alone.

How loud and hot does the NUC7i3BNHX1 get when it runs all day?

The barebone uses a low-power 2.4 GHz Core i3-7100U with HD Graphics 620, so fan noise and case temperature stay modest under continuous load.
