Adds a gigabit RJ45 port to a 32-bit PCI 2.2 slot with Wake-on-LAN support
The Intel PWLA8390MT is a 32-bit PCI 2.2 network card built around the Intel 82540EM Gigabit Controller. It delivers 10, 100 or 1000Mbps Ethernet through a single RJ45 port and supports Wake On LAN, PXE boot and ACPI power management.
This card suits systems that still offer a 32-bit PCI slot and need a reliable wired gigabit link. Builders working with PCI Express only motherboards or anyone requiring multiple ports, fibre connectivity or Wi-Fi should look elsewhere.
The adapter meets IEEE 802.3ab and runs at full line rate on standard Category-5 cable up to 1000Mbps. Performance drops to 100Mbps or 10Mbps when connected to slower switches, and the single port limits aggregate bandwidth to one gigabit link.

Yes, the card installs in a 32-bit PCI 2.2 slot and will not work in PCIe slots.
Yes, it supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T so it will link at 100 Mbps with that switch.
Check the link speed in the adapter properties or OS network status; it should show 1 Gbps when connected to a gigabit port with Category-5 cabling.
