24-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch with 2 SFP Uplinks

This unmanaged rackmount switch provides 24 Gigabit RJ45 ports and two 1G SFP uplink slots for fibre connectivity. It powers PoE+ devices such as wireless access points, VoIP phones and IP cameras while passing data at up to 1,000 Mbps per port. The unit fits a standard 19-inch rack and requires no configuration to operate.

PoE+ Budget Limits and Per-Port Power

The switch delivers a total PoE power budget of 370 watts with a maximum of 30 watts available on any single port. Connecting 24 class 4 devices at full draw would exceed the budget, so actual port loading must be planned. Non-PoE devices can be mixed freely, but legacy equipment without 802.3af/at compliance needs a separate splitter to function.

Rackmount Installation and Common Issues

The 19-inch form factor mounts in standard server racks using the included brackets. SFP transceivers are not supplied and must be purchased separately for the two uplink ports. Manual VLAN mode isolates ports 1 to 24 from each other while keeping uplink access on ports 25 and 26, which can confuse troubleshooting if enabled unintentionally.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 24-port model or the smaller 8-port version?

This listing covers the 24-port PoE+ switch with 370 W budget and two 1 Gbps SFP uplinks; no 8-port variant is shown here.

What does the 370 W PoE budget actually deliver per port?

Each of the 24 RJ45 ports can supply up to 30 W, but the total across all ports is capped at 370 W, so you cannot run every port at 30 W simultaneously.

How do the two SFP uplink slots limit my fibre links?

The two open SFP slots accept 1 Gbps modules, giving you up to two gigabit fibre uplinks; they do not support 10 Gbps transceivers.
