Single-fibre media converter

The Intellinet 510530 converts 10/100Base-TX copper signals to 100Base-FX single-mode fibre using wavelength division multiplexing. It transmits at 1550 nm and receives at 1310 nm over a single SC connector. The RJ45 port supports auto MDI/MDI-X and runs up to 100 metres on Cat5e or better cabling.

Link extension up to 20 km

Network managers who need to bridge two sites over one fibre strand will use this module. It is not for links that exceed 20 km or for multi-mode fibre installations. Buyers requiring Gigabit speeds or a second independent fibre pair should look at other equipment.

Must pair with model 510547

This converter only operates when the far end uses the matching WDM unit with reversed wavelengths (model 510547). Without that specific counterpart the link will not establish. Verify the companion module is available before ordering.
