Industrial 8-port Gigabit switch with two SFP slots, IP40 metal housing, DIN-rail mount, redundant 12-48 V DC inputs, power-failure alarm and 6 kV port surge protection for -40 to 75 °C operation
The Intellinet Industrial 8-Port Gigabit Switch delivers eight auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports plus two SFP slots for fiber uplinks. Its IP40-rated metal housing and DIN-rail mounting suit factory floors, outdoor cabinets and transportation infrastructure. Redundant 12-48 V DC inputs with a power-failure alarm keep critical IoT and Industry 4.0 links alive.
The switch maintains full Gigabit throughput across the entire -40 to 75 °C (-40 to 167 °F) range without fans or throttling. Port surge protection up to 6 kV shields connected devices from transients common in industrial power networks. Redundant DC feeds and the one-way relay alarm give immediate notice of a supply loss so operators can act before a segment goes dark.
It upgrades any unmanaged plastic-cased switch that cannot survive vibration, dust or temperature extremes. The jump is worth it when downtime costs exceed the price delta and when fiber links over copper distance limits are required. Buyers who need managed features, PoE budgets or rack-mount form factors should look elsewhere.

You need two DC sources between 12 V and 48 V with wires for the terminal block, plus a separate circuit for the 1 A, 24 V DC relay alarm output.
Yes, every port auto-senses 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps so older and newer Ethernet devices share the switch without configuration.
