Intermatic Spring-Wound Timer White 0-6 hr 20A 125VAC
A spring-wound timer with a 0 to 6 hour range, 20 A at 125 VAC, SPST contacts and a hold feature
- Spring-wound operation needs no external power
- 0 to 6 hour timing range suits varied cycles
- 20 A at 125 VAC handles heavy loads
- SPST contact with hold feature keeps circuit closed
- CSA and UL listed for code compliance
Spring-Wound Timer 0 to 6 hr
The Intermatic spring-wound timer provides mechanical time control for single-circuit loads up to 20 A at 125 VAC. It suits installers who need a simple, non-electronic delay without external power.
SPST contact with hold feature
The single-pole single-throw contact opens or closes the circuit at the end of the set period. A built-in hold feature lets the operator keep the load on continuously when required, overriding the timed cycle.
1 hp at 120 V and 2 hp at 240 V
The timer handles motor loads of 1 hp at 120 V and 2 hp at 240 V, with resistive ratings of 20 A at 125 VAC, 10 A at 250 VAC and 10 A at 277 VAC. It is not suited for loads exceeding these current or horsepower limits.

Questions about this item
Will the internal spring mechanism need replacement after repeated winding?
The spring-wound mechanism is a sealed mechanical assembly designed for the 0 to 6 hour timing range; no user-serviceable spring replacement is expected under normal operation.
What is the maximum continuous current the contacts can carry at 125 VAC before tripping?
The SPST contacts are rated for a maximum of 20 amps at 125 VAC, which is the primary current limit for sustained loads.
Does the timer generate noticeable heat or audible ticking when running all day?
As a purely mechanical spring-wound device it produces no electrical heat and only a faint tick from the escapement during the timed cycle.
