Print technology & resolution

The Intermec PM4i is a direct thermal and thermal transfer label printer operating at 203 dpi. It produces barcodes, text and graphics on continuous or die-cut media for logistics, manufacturing and retail environments. The unit ships new with a power cord and has been tested so that the printhead shows no lines or dead pixels.

Interfaces & suitability

USB 2.0 type B, Ethernet RJ-45, serial RS-232 DB9 and parallel ports provide flexible connectivity for legacy and modern host systems. Organisations needing wireless or Bluetooth links should consider other models.

203 dpi print resolution

The fixed 203 dpi resolution determines label clarity and the minimum barcode element size that can be reliably rendered. Verify that this density meets your symbology and compliance requirements before purchase.
