Visual Marker and Lock for Sliding Glass Doors

The Intromark Protection Plus accessory acts as a bright visual cue and a physical lock for sliding glass doors and windows. Its green colour makes the glass panel obvious to prevent accidental collisions. The device also secures the door in a fixed position to deter forced entry or stop children from opening it fully.

Suction-Cup Mount with Dual-Function Design

Each unit is made from heavy-duty PVC and attaches without tools using a suction-cup backing. Once applied, it serves simultaneously as a safety marker, a secondary locking mechanism and an optional third handle for easier operation. The pack contains two accessories so both the door and a matching window can be protected.

Check Glass Surface and Clearance Before Buying

Ensure the glass is clean, smooth and non-textured so the suction cup forms a reliable seal. Verify there is enough flat area on the pane for the accessory to sit without overlapping frame edges or hardware. Buyers who need a permanent bolt-on lock or a device for framed shower doors should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often do the suction cups need to be cleaned or reattached to keep the lock holding?

The heavy-duty PVC body and suction backing are designed for repeated use; wipe the glass and cup with a damp cloth whenever the grip feels loose and press firmly to reseat.

What stops the accessory from sliding down the glass when the door is left partially open all day?

The suction cup creates a vacuum seal that locks the slider in position until you pull the release tab, so the door cannot drift wider on its own.

Does the green PVC become soft or lose suction after hours of direct sunlight?

The material is rated for everyday outdoor exposure and the .68 lb weight per pack shows a rigid build that resists heat deformation.
