Pro A/V Extender & Repeater Kit

The IOGEAR GWLRSSKIT4K is a long-range wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver kit designed for installers and integrators who need to place a 4K display up to 600 feet from the source without running cables. It supports switch or splitter modes for flexible multi-screen digital signage in commercial, education or hospitality environments.

600-foot wireless 4K transmission range

The kit delivers uncompressed 4K video at 4096x2160 resolution up to 30 Hz wirelessly over a 4.9 to 5.9 GHz high-gain MIMO link, with a maximum line-of-sight range of 600 feet (182 meters) when paired with a single receiver. Local wired pass-through on the transmitter maintains 4K at 60 Hz for a nearby monitor while the remote display receives the wireless signal.

HDMI source with USB HID and IR control

The transmitter connects to any HDMI source and provides a USB HID port for keyboard and mouse input, while the receiver offers two USB-A ports for remote KVM control of the host PC. A 3.5 mm IR emitter and receiver pair extends remote-control commands, and a 3-pin RS-232 block connector allows serial control of projectors or other end devices. Both units require the included 12 V DC power supplies.

Questions about this item

What does the 4K@30Hz wireless resolution mean for my display?

The kit transmits up to 4096x2160 at 30 Hz wirelessly, so a connected 4K screen will show that resolution and refresh rate over the air.

How does the 4.9–5.9 GHz band and 600 ft range work together in practice?

The 5 GHz high-gain antennas deliver up to 600 ft (182 m) line-of-sight; walls or interference will reduce the usable distance.

What mounting options and space do the transmitter and receiver need?

Each unit measures 9.75" x 2.50" x 1" (without antennas) and includes a mounting kit for wall or shelf installation.
