Three Right-Angle Options

This pack supplies three USB-C 90-degree adapters with different bend directions so you can route cables along a wall, desk edge or tight bedside space. Each unit connects a USB-C male plug to a USB-C female port, extending the connection by up to six feet while keeping the cable aligned to reduce strain on device ports.

Aluminium Shell and 16-Pin Connector

The compact housings use a premium aluminium alloy that resists wear and dissipates heat during high-power sessions. Sixteen pins carry the full USB-C signal set, enabling 100W Power Delivery at 20V/5A and 40Gbps data rates when both host and cable support USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4. The right-angle geometry protects ports from sideways pull during daily connect and disconnect cycles.

Thermal Behaviour and Power Draw

Under full 100W load the aluminium body stays warm but within safe limits because the short internal path minimises resistance. No active cooling is present, so silent operation is guaranteed in office or travel use. Power consumption is limited to the negotiated PD contract; the adapter itself draws negligible overhead, leaving the full budget for the attached laptop, tablet or phone.

Questions about this item

Does this USB4 adapter cap at 40Gbps if my laptop only supports Thunderbolt 3?

The adapter supports up to 40Gbps over USB4 or Thunderbolt 3 and 4. If your laptop only runs Thunderbolt 3, the link will still reach 40Gbps because Thunderbolt 3 shares that ceiling. Both the host and the cable must be Thunderbolt 3 or USB4 to hit the maximum.

How much clearance does the 0.866 inch right-angle connector need behind my device?

The right-angle plug extends roughly 0.866 inches from the port face, so you need at least that much space behind the device for the cable to bend without pressure. The three-pack gives you different angle orientations to fit tight desk edges or wall-mounted setups.

What is the correct way to seat the male USB-C plug so the 100W charging works?

Push the male USB-C connector straight in until it clicks; the right-angle housing should sit flush with the port. A common mistake is stopping at the first detent, which leaves the power pins partially unseated and limits charging to standard speed instead of the full 100W PD.
