Questions about this item

Does the key chain draw any power or generate heat when left on a key ring all day?

It has no electronics or battery, so it uses no power and produces no heat.

What must I already own for this key chain to work?

Only a set of keys — the split flat key ring attaches directly without tools or extra parts.

Will the gunmetal chrome finish or carbon fiber insert react with older metal key rings I keep using?

The materials are inert; they will not corrode or mark older key rings.
