What the product is and who it is for

This key chain is a licensed Ford Taurus accessory featuring a teardrop pendant with a real carbon fibre insert and chrome metal surround. The full-colour UV ink logo is printed on one side and a split flat key ring allows easy attachment. It suits drivers who want an official branded item for daily use.

How it behaves under sustained load rather than

The carbon fibre insert and chrome metal surround are built to withstand regular handling and exposure to the elements without fading or peeling. The split flat key ring maintains its spring tension over repeated opening and closing cycles. The UV ink resists wear from pocket friction and sunlight during extended ownership.

Practical limits of the standard

The pendant measures 2-1/8" by 1-1/4", which restricts the size of the logo graphic and the number of keys the flat ring can hold comfortably. Buyers who want a larger emblem or need to carry a bulky key bundle may find the dimensions limiting. The 30-day parts coverage defines the period for replacement of any defective component.

Questions about this item

Does the carbon-fiber insert or chrome surround get hot or noisy when the key chain sits in a parked car all day?

The pendant is a passive accessory with no electronics, so it generates no heat and makes no sound regardless of how long it stays in the vehicle.

What must I already own for the split flat key ring to work?

You need at least one key or a key-ring loop to attach; the ring opens and closes by hand with no tools required.

Will the teardrop pendant interfere with an older Ford ignition barrel or steering-column cover?

The pendant measures 2-1/8 by 1-1/4 inches and hangs freely on the split ring, so it clears standard ignition barrels and column housings without contact.
