Honda Civic Type-R Piston Key Chain

This key chain is a miniature replica of a Honda Civic Type-R engine piston and connecting rod assembly. It is made from solid casted metal with a chrome finish. The OEM logo appears as a full-colour graphic under a poly-resin clear dome. It is a brand new, officially licensed product from iPick Image, LLC.

Official Licensing and Build Quality

The official licence guarantees accurate OEM branding on the logo dome. Solid casted metal construction adds weight and durability compared with plastic or plated alternatives. Chrome finish resists everyday wear on keys or bags. The poly-resin dome protects the graphic from scratches and fading over time.

Compact Size and Gift Suitability

At 2-1/2 by 3/4 inch the replica fits comfortably on a key ring without adding bulk. It suits Honda enthusiasts looking for a detailed, brand-authentic accessory. Buyers needing a multi-tool or electronic tracker will not find those functions here. The 30 day parts coverage applies only to manufacturing defects.

Questions about this item

How long before the key-ring attachment or chain needs replacing?

The supplier lists a 30-day parts period, suggesting the ring or chain is covered for that time if it fails.

What wears out first if the fob stays on a belt loop every day?

The chrome plating on the cast-metal piston can scuff where it rubs against other keys, and the poly-resin dome over the logo may develop fine scratches.

Does the metal body get hot or cold enough to be uncomfortable in a pocket all day?

The solid cast-metal construction will match ambient temperature quickly, so it can feel cold in winter or warm in direct sunlight, but it generates no heat of its own.
