Personal Breathing Zone Purifier

The IQAir Atem Desk purifier creates a focused stream of up to 99% purified air directed at your personal breathing zone. It uses HyperHEPA filtration to capture pollutants as small as .003 microns, including bacteria, viruses and allergens. Designed for desktop use in homes or offices, it covers a small room up to 300 sq ft. Swiss design and German manufacture define the build quality.

Three Speed Settings and App Control

Touch-point controls provide three fan speeds ranging from a whisper-soft breeze to a noticeable cooling airflow. Bluetooth connectivity allows customization of speed settings and features through a downloadable smartphone app. The purifier operates quietly to maintain a peaceful environment while delivering a steady stream of clean air. Portable design lets you move the clean-air bubble wherever you need it.

HyperHEPA Filtration Limits

The HyperHEPA filter captures particles down to .003 microns, far smaller than standard HEPA benchmarks. It does not use ionisation or ozone-generating technology, relying solely on mechanical filtration. Replacement filters are required periodically to maintain the stated 99% purification efficiency in your breathing zone. The unit is UL listed for safety compliance.

Questions about this item

Will the Atem purifier interfere with other desktop electronics I keep nearby?

The unit uses Bluetooth for app control and creates a focused clean-air bubble toward your breathing zone, so it sits quietly on a desk without disruptive airflow toward adjacent gear.

How can I confirm the HyperHEPA filter is capturing particles down to 0.003 microns after I set it up?

The touch-point controls show the active fan speed, and the companion app reports real-time air-quality feedback so you can verify purification performance in your personal zone.

Does the box include the HyperHEPA filter and a power cable, or must I purchase them separately?

The Atem ships with the HyperHEPA filter installed and a power cord in the box; no extra filter or cable purchase is required for initial operation.
