8-Piece GrooveLock Pliers Set

The IRWIN VISE-GRIP GrooveLock Pliers Set contains eight professional hand tools for gripping, cutting, and fastening tasks. Three GrooveLock pliers in 8, 10, and 12 inch sizes feature the Press-n-Slide button for fast jaw adjustment. The kit also includes a 10 inch adjustable wrench, 8 inch long nose and linesman's pliers, 6 inch diagonal cutter, and 6 inch slip joint pliers. All tools are stored in the included kitbag.

Suited for trades needing multiple jaw types

This set serves professionals who require a complete range of pliers and an adjustable wrench in one package. The ProTouch grips reduce hand fatigue during extended use on pipe, fasteners, and wire. Buyers who only need a single specialised plier or a different jaw configuration should look at individual tools instead.

Press-n-Slide adjustment with 7 positions

The GrooveLock pliers use a Press-n-Slide button system that allows quick, one-handed adjustment from the open position across seven jaw positions. Curved jaws provide a secure grip on round and flat surfaces up to 1 inch capacity. This mechanism decides whether the speed and versatility match the work at hand.

Questions about this item

How does the Press-n-Slide button system limit adjustment speed during sustained use?

The Press-n-Slide button allows fast, one-handed adjustment from the open position up to the workpiece, so the limit is how quickly you can press and slide the button repeatedly.

Do the ProTouch grips reduce heat buildup or hand fatigue during all-day use?

The non-slip, anti-pinch ProTouch grips are designed to reduce hand fatigue and provide extra comfort during extended use.

Does the kitbag include any tools, or must I already own the pliers and wrench for the set to work?

The set includes three GrooveLock pliers, an adjustable wrench, long nose, diagonal cutting, linesman's and slip joint pliers, plus the kitbag — no additional tools are required.
