Filipino-Style Comfort Sandals

Islander Philippines Grey flip-flops are unisex sandals built around a moulded insole that shapes to the foot. The specially formulated sole compound and long-lasting upper materials are designed for daily wear in warm conditions. They arrive new in a regular-width men’s size 5, also labelled women’s 7.

Upgrade from Basic Foam Thongs

The moulded footbed and durable sole formulation replace thin, flat foam flip-flops that compress quickly and offer no arch contour. The jump is worth it when daily walking on hard surfaces leaves feet sore or when cheaper pairs wear through in a single season.

Limits of Flat Sandal Construction

The open thong design provides no heel capture, so the sandals can slip off during running or quick lateral moves. The flat profile lacks built-in arch support for clinical orthotic needs, and the single-density sole cannot be resoled once the tread wears down.

They are a unisex size 5 with a regular width, listed as M5/W7.

How do I put these moulded-insoles sandals on correctly?

When should I replace the specially formulated soles?

Replace the pair when the tread pattern wears smooth or the sole foam no longer springs back under pressure.
