Compact 2U Industrial Chassis

The iStarUSA DD-200-SEA-BLACK is a 2U rack-mount chassis built for compact server or cluster deployments. It accommodates ATX and microATX motherboards up to 12 by 9.6 inches. The unit provides three expansion slots supporting PCI, PCI-X, AGP, or PCI-Express add-on cards. A patented aluminum front bezel with locks secures the front panel.

Sustained Thermal Behaviour

A single 80 mm cooling fan manages airflow through the steel main chassis. An optional bracket allows three additional 60 mm fans for higher heat loads. Front-panel indicators monitor power, drive activity, temperature, and fan status when a compatible sensor board is installed. The optional aluminum body variant reduces weight and improves thermal dissipation.

Four-Drive Hot-Swap Limit

The chassis integrates a hot-swappable cage supporting up to four drives total across two internal 3.5-inch bays and two 5.25-inch bays. This capacity ceiling defines the maximum RAID array size possible inside the unit. Builds requiring five or more drive bays must choose a different enclosure.
