Edge server barebone for Intel Xeon E-2100

The D-260HNRD-C246-1 is a 2U rackmount chassis that accepts LGA 1151 Xeon E-2100 processors on an Intel C246 platform. It targets edge workloads where a compact, redundant storage front end is required. No memory or drives are included, so the builder chooses capacity and ECC configuration.

Zinc-coated steel frame

Six 3.5-inch bays allow drive insertion without tools while the system runs, and a single internal 3.5-inch bay adds fixed storage. Dual Intel i210 and I219LM controllers provide two RJ45 ports at 1 Gigabit. Rear I/O adds four USB 3.0 ports, COM, VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort.

500 watt single supply and three PCIe 3.0 slots

A 500W unit powers the board, six hot-swap drives and add-in cards. Expansion consists of one x16, one x8 and one x4 slot, all PCIe 3.0, for NICs, RAID controllers or accelerators. Four 288-pin slots support dual-channel DDR4 up to 64GB with ECC or non-ECC UDIMMs at 2666 or 2400. Builders needing more than six hot-swap bays or a second power supply must choose a different chassis.
