A compact 1U rackmount chassis for Mini ITX boards with an included 300W power supply
Model D118ITX-30
The iStarUSA D118ITX-30 is a 1U rackmount enclosure designed for Mini ITX motherboards. It targets administrators building space-efficient servers for edge locations or dense rack rows. The included 300W power supply simplifies deployment in a single package.
At 11 inches deep the chassis fits shallow cabinets and wall-mount racks where full-depth units cannot go. Front-panel I/O and drive bays keep cables on the cold-aisle side for easier daily maintenance. The steel construction meets standard 1U mounting-hole spacing.
This unit replaces 2U or deeper towers when rack height is at a premium and Mini ITX compute density is sufficient. The upgrade is worth it when a 300W power budget covers the intended workload and 11-inch depth clears the rack door. Builders needing multiple expansion slots or larger ATX boards should choose a larger form factor.

Other versions of this model
The chassis accepts Mini ITX boards only; standard ATX or microATX layouts will not fit the 1U internal volume.
A cabinet with at least 11 inches of usable rail depth is needed; shallower racks will leave the rear I/O unsupported.
Slide the PSU into the dedicated bay and secure it with the supplied screws; the step often missed is connecting the 4-pin CPU power lead before closing the cover.
