Compatible 240 W adapter for Gigabyte Aorus laptops

This 240 watt AC adapter supplies power to Gigabyte Aorus 17 XE5, YE4 and YE5 models as well as the Aorus Elite 16 and Gaming A16 Pro series. It carries a 4.5 mm barrel plug with a centre pin that matches the original charger. The unit replaces 180 W, 200 W, 230 W and 240 W factory adapters.

Check your laptop’s required wattage and tip size

Verify that the original charger is rated 240 W or lower; this adapter does not replace 280 W, 300 W or 330 W units. Confirm the DC connector measures 4.5 mm with a centre pin by comparing it to the third product image. The AC input accepts standard mains voltage for worldwide use.

Six-foot AC and DC cords give extra reach

A UL listed three-prong AC cord and a six-foot DC cable combine for twelve feet of total length, reducing the need for extension leads. The rugged case resists moisture and extreme conditions while built-in protections guard against overload, short circuit, over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature. Buyers needing a higher-wattage 330 W supply or a different tip diameter cannot use this model.
