  • 90-degree elbow design protects laptop power jack
  • Long power cord extends reach inside vehicle
  • circuit and over-temperature protection built in
  • Compact 3.94 x 1.57 x 1.18 inch form factor weighs 8.7 oz

Compatible Acer Models

This 45W car charger powers select Acer Chromebook 11 and 13 models plus Aspire R7-371T, SW5-171, SW5-171P, SW5-271, V3-331 and V3-371 laptops from a vehicle 12-24V socket. It replaces genuine Acer 40W and 45W adapters with a 19V 2.37A output.

Who This Suits

Drivers who need to charge supported Acer laptops on the road will find the right-angle DC plug and long cord convenient. Buyers needing an AC wall adapter, USB-C charging or higher wattage for other laptops should look elsewhere.

Installation Notes

Plug the unit into a 12-24V cigarette-lighter outlet and connect the 90-degree tip to the laptop; the LED indicator confirms power. The right-angle connector reduces strain on the jack, but forcing the tip into an incompatible port can damage both the adapter and the device.

Questions about this item

Does the 12V cigarette lighter in my car provide the correct input for this charger?

Yes, the charger accepts DC 12V to 24V input, matching standard vehicle outlets.

Will the 19VDC 2.37A output run my Acer Chromebook 13 C810 while the battery charges?

The 45W maximum output replaces the genuine Acer 40W or 45W adapter, so it powers the laptop and charges the battery simultaneously.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering power after I plug it into the lighter socket?

The built-in smart LED power indicator lights up when the unit is receiving voltage and supplying 19VDC to the laptop.
