Touchless 13 Gallon Kitchen Bin

The iTouchless SensorCan is a 13 gallon stainless steel trash can that opens automatically when you wave your hand near the infrared sensor. It suits homes and offices where a hygienic, hands-free way to dispose of waste is preferred. The oval shape fits into slim spaces while still holding a standard tall kitchen bag.

Extra-Wide 12.75 Inch Opening

The lid aperture measures 12.75 inches across, letting you drop in bulky items such as pizza boxes and milk cartons without folding them. This single dimension decides whether the bin matches the type of waste your household produces most often.

Battery Or Optional AC Power

Four D batteries (not included) can run the sensor for up to 1.5 years, or you can add the manufacturer's AC adapter (sold separately) for mains power. No tools are needed for setup; the main issue buyers report is forgetting to buy batteries or the adapter at the same time.

Questions about this item

How long will four D batteries actually keep the 13-gallon SensorCan running in a busy kitchen?

The manufacturer rates it at up to 1.5 years because the motor only draws power when the lid moves.

What does the infrared sensor actually control and what stops the lid from closing on your hand?

It opens the lid automatically when your hand approaches, and Reflx Technology reopens it if motion is detected while closing.

Will the 16 by 11.5 by 25-inch oval body fit between my counter and island?

The footprint is 16 inches wide by 11.5 inches deep, and the lid needs clearance above the 25-inch height.
