Protection and compatibility

The ITSKINS Hybrid_R MagFolio is a folio-style case built for the iPhone 16 Plus. It combines a rugged shell with a magnetic ring that aligns with MagSafe accessories. A front cover shields the screen and holds up to two cards. Raised edges around the display and camera add extra impact buffering.

Sustained protection

Military-grade drop testing rates the case for falls of up to 10ft. The hybrid construction absorbs repeated shocks without cracking or loosening. The magnetic ring retains its grip on chargers and mounts through daily attachment cycles. Card slots keep cards secure even when the cover is flipped open frequently.

Thermals noise and power

The case adds no active cooling, fans or electronics, so it generates no noise and draws no power. Its slim profile does not trap heat during wireless charging sessions. Materials stay neutral to the touch during extended use. The design leaves all ports and speakers fully exposed for normal airflow.

Questions about this item

Does the folio cover trap heat against the back of the iPhone 16 Plus during long wireless charging sessions?

The case is designed for MagSafe wireless charging and the magnetic ring aligns with Qi-certified chargers, so heat dissipation follows the phone's normal thermal path.

Must I already own MagSafe or Qi wireless chargers to use the built-in magnetic ring?

Yes, the magnetic ring works with MagSafe accessories and Qi-certified wireless chargers, so you need one of those to charge wirelessly through the case.

Will the raised edges still protect the screen and camera if I keep an older non-MagSafe charger on my nightstand?

The raised edges buffer the screen and camera from drops up to 3 m regardless of which charger you use, so protection remains the same with older chargers.
