Holds 1" insert bits with dual magnets delivering 40x pull force and a chrome vanadium shank for rotary use
The IVY Classic Industries 44775 is a 3-5/16 inch SDS Mega Magnetic Bit Holder built for rotary use. Its chrome vanadium steel shank and solid stainless steel body provide durability for demanding fastening tasks. Two powerful magnets create 40x the pulling power of an ordinary magnetic bit holder. This tool is designed for professionals and serious DIYers who need secure bit and fastener retention.
This holder upgrades from single-magnet designs that often drop bits or fail to grip fasteners securely. The dual-magnet system magnetizes the insert bit with the first magnet while the second magnet holds the fastener firmly in place. The jump is worth it when working overhead, in tight cavities, or with heavy fasteners where a dropped screw costs time. It works with all 1" insert bits for broad compatibility.
The tool is rated for rotary use only and must not be used with impact drivers or hammer drills. The SDS shank fits compatible chucks but the internal mechanism is not hardened for percussive forces. Users needing impact-rated bit holders should select a different product. The 16-gram shank diameter and 40x magnetic multiplier are optimised for steady rotational torque.

It uses a chrome vanadium steel shank designed for SDS rotary hammers, so the shank matches the SDS-plus profile used by those tools.
Push the bit into the magnetic socket until it seats; the first magnet holds and magnetises the bit while the second magnet grips the fastener, giving 40x the pull of a standard holder.
The stainless steel body is solid, but the chrome vanadium shank and the two internal magnets take the impact load, so inspect them for rounding or magnet loss after heavy rotary use.
