Solid stainless steel ice cream scoop

The Iwatani 1129500 is a solid stainless steel ice cream scoop built to resist chipping, pitting and discoloration. Its curved head cuts through hard ice cream while flat edges scrape container sides clean. A comfortable non-slip handle provides secure grip during use. The scoop measures 1.4 x 4.25 x 10.45 in and is dishwasher safe.

Home users serving hard frozen desserts

This scoop suits anyone who regularly serves firm ice cream and wants a durable, single-piece tool that cleans easily in a dishwasher. Buyers who need a portion-control mechanism, a heated scoop or a multi-piece serving set should look at other options. The stainless construction also avoids the wear seen on coated or plastic alternatives.

Consistent scooping through repeated use

The solid stainless head maintains its shape and edge when pressing into rock-hard ice cream batch after batch. No coating exists to wear away, so the scoop keeps releasing cleanly without sticking or surface degradation. Flat edges continue to scrape container walls effectively over time. Dishwasher cycles do not affect the material or the handle grip.

Questions about this item

What size ice cream container does the 1.4 x 4.25 x 10.45 in scoop fit?

The scoop measures 1.4 x 4.25 x 10.45 in, so it reaches the bottom of standard 1 litre tubs and its flat edges scrape the sides clean.

Will the stainless steel head damage a non-stick coated bowl I already use?

The solid stainless steel head will not chip, pit or discolor, but metal can scratch non-stick coatings; use a plastic or wooden bowl if that is a concern.

How can I confirm the 1129500 scoop is dishwasher safe after the first wash?

Place it in the dishwasher; the stainless steel and handle grip are rated dishwasher safe and should emerge without rust, pitting or grip loosening.
