Compact kitchen set for organised drawers

This two-piece Iwatani set combines a foldable masher and a convertible whisk in a compact footprint that stores flat. The 12.25-inch whisk shifts between flat and balloon shapes, while the 10.75-inch masher folds for tidy storage. Food-grade silicone heads are made without BPA or BPS and pair with stainless steel and TPR handles for everyday cooking tasks.

Heat-safe silicone handles stovetop work

Both tool heads withstand temperatures up to 425°F, so they remain safe in hot pans and during extended stirring. The non-scratch silicone protects non-stick coatings and other delicate surfaces from damage. Non-slip TPR handles give a secure grip even with wet or oily hands, reducing fatigue during repetitive mixing or mashing.

Stainless steel and silicone build cleans by hand

The utensils are not dishwasher safe, so hand washing preserves the folding mechanism and material integrity over time. Silicone heads resist staining and odours while staying gentle on cookware. The set includes one whisk and one masher, covering core prep needs without duplicating single-purpose gadgets.

Questions about this item

How do I convert the whisk between its 12.25 inch flat and balloon shapes for different tasks?

Pull the handle to extend the wires into a balloon whisk for aerating batters, then push it back to collapse flat for stirring sauces in shallow pans.

Will the silicone heads or TPR handles degrade if I wash the set in the dishwasher despite the hand-wash recommendation?

Repeated dishwasher cycles can break down the silicone and TPR materials over time, so hand washing preserves the non-scratch surfaces and grip.

At what temperature do the tool heads reach their limit during prolonged cooking on the hob?

The heads are rated to 425°F, so sustained contact above that temperature will cause the silicone to deteriorate first.
