New kitchen set for home cooks

The Iwatani 8541968115 silicone cooking utensil set supplies a full range of tools for everyday meal preparation. It suits anyone stocking a first kitchen or replacing worn items with a single heat-resistant collection. The set includes multiple spatulas, ladles, turners, spoons and a whisk, all rated to 446°F. Food-grade, BPA-free silicone heads will not react with ingredients or retain strong flavours.

Reinforced cores and wooden handles

Each utensil has a stainless steel core wrapped in seamless silicone, giving structural strength while preventing food from lodging in crevices. Wooden handles stay cooler during high-temperature cooking and reduce the risk of burns. Soft, thick silicone heads protect non-stick surfaces from scratches. Hanging holes on the handles allow vertical storage on rails or hooks, keeping drawers clear.

Check your drawer and holder space

The packaged set measures 14 in x 4 in x 4 in, so confirm that your utensil drawer or countertop holder can accommodate that footprint. Wooden handles should be hand-washed rather than placed in a dishwasher to preserve the wood finish. Ensure you have a convenient spot to hang the tools if you plan to use the built-in holes for organisation.

Questions about this item

What temperature does the 446°F heat resistance actually cap in practice?

The silicone heads withstand up to 446°F (230°C) without melting or warping during high-heat cooking.

What are the 14 in x 4 in x 4 in dimensions for, and what clearance do they need?

Those are the set's overall packaged dimensions; the holder and utensils fit within a 14-inch length, 4-inch width and 4-inch depth footprint.

How do I install the utensils in the holder, and what step is often missed?

Place each utensil handle-down into the holder's slots; the step often missed is ensuring the stainless-steel cores seat fully so the silicone heads rest level.
