Upgrades from manual searching

This replaces the habit of retracing steps or asking others to help locate misplaced items. The jump is worth it when you regularly lose small essentials inside the home or office and want an audible cue that works through walls and furniture. Radio frequency signals penetrate obstructions up to 98ft in open space, with a practical indoor range of 49ft.

Check your setup before ordering

Ensure you can replace the transmitter and receiver batteries when needed, observing the warning not to mix old and new cells or different chemistries. Verify that the 433.92MHz frequency is permitted in your region. Keep the small receivers away from children under three years old due to choking hazard.

Questions about this item

How far can the receivers be from the remote and still beep?

The system works up to 98 feet in open space; indoors the signal penetrates walls and furniture but effective range drops to about 49 feet.

What is the correct way to install the batteries in the remote and receivers?

Insert fresh alkaline cells only — do not mix old and new batteries or combine alkaline, carbon-zinc or rechargeable types.

How loud is the beep and will it stay that loud over time?

Each receiver emits 75–80 dB when triggered; volume will gradually decrease as the batteries age, so replace cells when the sound noticeably drops.
