Wireless RF Key Finder Kit

The J-Tech Digital JTDKF4F kit includes one transmitter and four colour-coded receivers for attaching to keys, wallets, remotes or pet collars. It uses a 433.92 MHz radio signal to locate items up to 131 feet away in open space. The system is designed for households that regularly misplace everyday objects.

Installation and Common Issues

Each receiver pairs to a specific button on the transmitter, so press the matching button to trigger the 80 dB beep that lasts five seconds. The RF signal penetrates walls and floors, but thick concrete or metal can reduce the effective range toward the 98 foot figure. Batteries are included and replaceable; the remote uses AAA cells while the receivers take CR2032 coins.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify you can hear an 80 dB tone in the rooms where you plan to use the locator. Confirm there is space to attach the small receivers to your key rings or devices. Note the choking-hazard warning and keep all parts out of reach of small children. The kit operates on 433.92 MHz and does not rely on Bluetooth or Wi-Fi networks.
