Pro Series Dinky DK2 Modern Ash

The Jackson Pro Series Dinky DK2 Modern Ash HT6 is a solid-body electric guitar built for players who demand technical precision and tonal versatility. Its ash body and graphite-reinforced bolt-on maple/wenge/maple neck deliver a balanced platform for modern performance. The instrument targets guitarists seeking a high-output, multi-voiced tool for stage and studio work. It is not suited for players requiring traditional single-coil sparkle or hollow-body resonance.

Fishman Fluence Open Core pickups

Active Fishman Fluence Open Core PRF-COC pickups provide multi-voiced operation without the noise floor typical of high-gain circuits. The electronics require a battery compartment routed into the body, limiting cavity space for alternative wiring schemes. Players committed to purely passive signal paths or vintage-style dynamic response will find the active architecture a fixed constraint. No passive bypass mode is documented in the specification.

Graphite-reinforced neck and Gotoh tuners

A three-piece maple/wenge/maple neck reinforced with graphite rods resists warping under string tension and climate shifts. Gotoh locking tuning machines clamp strings at the post for rapid changes and tuning stability during aggressive use. The heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel allows neck-relief tweaks without neck removal. The bound ebony fingerboard with a 12-16 compound radius and 24 jumbo frets supports low action across the full register.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the ebony fingerboard or another fretboard material?

This model comes with a bound ebony fingerboard featuring a compound 12"-16" radius, 24 jumbo frets and offset pearloid dot inlays; no alternative fretboard material is offered.

What does the compound 12"-16" radius mean for daily playing?

The radius curves from 12 inches at the nut to 16 inches at the heel, giving comfortable chord grip in low positions and flatter feel for fast lead work higher up the neck.

How do the Fishman Fluence Open Core PRF-COC pickups connect to my rig?

They are active pickups wired to the guitar's standard output jack, so you plug into any instrument cable and amplifier input just like a passive pickup.
