Versatile Latching Switch for Vehicles

This 16mm stainless steel push button provides a maintained on-off action suitable for cars, motorcycles, boats and computer projects. It controls auxiliary LED accent lights on truck beds, boat trims or underbody lighting. The switch and its white LED operate independently so the light can stay on constantly or only when the circuit is active. An IP67 rating protects the assembly against heavy rain and splashes.

Panel Mounting With Included Hardware

Installation requires a 5/8 inch (16mm) panel cutout and a 16mm thread depth. The faceplate measures 18mm across while the total depth including contacts is 36mm. A metal securing nut and a rubber O-ring are supplied; the O-ring adds extra water resistance between the neck and panel front. The switch fits panels thick enough to accept the 16mm thread length.

Sustained Operation Within Rated Limits

The switch handles up to 250V AC/DC at 3A continuously through its SPDT 1NO1NC contact arrangement. The integrated LED draws 15mA at 12V DC during extended use. An aluminium zinc alloy body operates reliably from -20C to 55C. The IP67 enclosure maintains its seal under prolonged exposure to moisture and dust without degradation.
